Umi's saba is pickled, whereas most other sushi chefs serve the mackerel as is. Some of my all-time favorites include the hotate, otoro, shima aji, kinmedai, and uni. Sashimi orders (2-3 slices) cost about $10-25 each. Nigiri orders (2 pieces) cost anywhere from $6-22 each. We went as a small group of four, was seated quickly, ordered and food came out quickly, and absolutely fell in love with Umi Sushi. Usually at sushi places we would get a ton of signature rolls but at Umi Sushi, even their basic rolls (especially the tuna and salmon) are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!
