I am (mostly!) decided on the purchase of a ULA Dragonfly, but that just comes with a secondary decision: What color/fabric! I have seen a few threads discussing the various fabric options, but I think from a performance point of view any of them would fit my needs so I'm more interested in the aesthetics. The ULA Dragonfly is marketed as being a 30L bag but I do not see how it is possible - its dimensions are 19.5″ x 11″ x 7″ which equates to 24.6 L - but that's from outer dimensions and doesn't refer to usable inner capacity, which is greatly reduced from the bag's materials, membranes, pockets, compartments, non-rectangular shape and all. For more adventurous travel the ULA Dragonfly is perfect because I pack minimally but I like packing more stuff when going on a more vacation-like trip where I don't want to be too restricted. Both bags are well-made and seem to have the room I need (although the Aer Travel Pack 3 has less space). I'm mostly split because the ULA Camino's ...
