Spectrum modem flashing battery

I'd like to get a battery backup for my spectrum voice/internet modem. I was looking to buy a ups but now Spectrum is offering me a battery backup for $60 that they say will last for 24 hours. Wondering what others here are using. I personally don’t see the point in buying a battery for $60 on a modem you will eventually return.
