Looking for a good Jaethal build, was using her as an Frontline semi-tank but she is kinda annoying to heal and since she has a lot of spells to cast I feel like I would prefer to leave her a bit behind (Preference to 6ft weapon over ranged, already got 3 ranged on the team)., I use Toybox and put my companions into Gestalt mode. I despise relying on pet-spam abuse to survive the early and mid game, so if you're already modded, I highly recommend using Gestalt in Toybox with your respec mod to create new, more interesting, and lore-friendly builds. For example, I respec my Lann to be a gestalt of Shadow Hunter and ..., But if you want a healer, the best way to do it is to buy the helmet from the merchant in your kingdom capital that improves channel positive energy. Combined with the Selective Channel feat so that you only heal allies, you can use channels highly effectively. The helmet adds +1d6 healing to each channel., It's not too different from how you build any two-hander. You want a CON of at minimum 14, a STR of 17 or higher. As a Paladin you should get a CHA of 14 or 15. Maybe higher if you want to dump stats but your cha should be good, but not better than your strength.
