I run a heavy elemental Maya. The Hellfire, Volcano, and a corrosive Lyuda are really awesome with the right skills and class mods/relics. Also, the Bitch is really kickass with a Wild Cat mod, which can dramatically increase SMG damage, and the the accuracy debuff given by the mod is effectively negated by the gun's Hyperion accuracy. I'd use something like the Florentine for sure. And depends if you have converge, I'd recommend a Slowhand or an Interfacer for one slot. Your skills build will depend on these.Don't fight the guy until your level 50, as that's the recommended mission level. If you can, try to get the help of a good Zer0 player. Zer0 if used correctly, can kill this boss in a single shot. Hyperius is a raid boss, so they're not designed to be solo'd against normally. Not saying its impossible, but its very hard. If you've got a rough rider, three points from Quicken and two points from Sustenance into Fleet is recommended. If you can find Maliwan, Hyperion, or even Tediore plasma casters ..., Nothing too special. Immolate: Immolate is mostly because there's very little else in the build in regards to survivability. If you're attacking things that are resistant to fire feel free to change out. Acid Cloud: The bread and butter of Maya's damage.
