Madden franchise sliders

I made a slider preset in order to make franchise feel even slightly fun but you can't implement it in game. I apply the preset in the Franchise menu, save, start a game, sliders say "preset 1" ( the one I made) and none of the sliders actually change. Not sure if anyone else is facing this, but the same thing happened in BAP23.
