The Kimber has a slightly lighter trigger than the Sig, so it's more in line with what would be termed a defensive trigger. Jul 31, 2017 · The magazine release button has a profiled protrude, let's say a cam, that should be polished. It is pretty easy to disassemble a button, but I don't recommend you to do it if you don't know how to put it back. There is a small compressing spring inside in the button. The assembly procedure requests special technics. Light primer strikes. Problem was really bad Monday at the range, about every other round. I have a 380 micro and will never carry cocked and locked. I have been handling and carrying 1911's my whole life and always carry cooked and locked. No grip safety and you are asking for trouble. A standard 1911, I can detail strip it blindfolded.There do seem to be more issues with Micros than any other Kimbers, except the ole Solo. So within the line up the Micro .380 seems to be the most problematic. That being said if you look at other manufacturers line ups you'll find the trend continues.
