How to install mods on bonelab pc

i cannot install bonelib. You have to put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BONELAB\Mods. Dont put in in userdata and dont put it in the appdata mod folder. Put it in the mods folder in your main game directory. I tried doing that and it crashes either way.

mods are gonna be included in the story, this has been confirmed, i dont think either mods or sandbox are gonna be locked till you complete the game, i think you start with one sandbox map and unlock more as you play the game. and when i say mods, i mean like custom characters, custom npcs, custom weapons, so maybe you think of that next time :)
