I have a 2006 chevy malibu and i am getting engine reduced and multiple codes - p0120, p0220, p1516,p2101, p2135. I have had it on 2 diagnostic machines and they keep telling me they arent sure whats ..., Most often, it is seen with GM brand vehicles, and code P1516 indicates that the Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) system isn’t working as it should. This control system monitors the data from the throttle and compares it with the target. If these don’t line up, the ECM determines there’s a problem.
