Archers are supposed to be good at long range but bad at melee. For some reason khans guard are good at long range AND the best melee cavalry in the game. They definitely need a nerf. I think the Rhomphalia that you get in battania is best, has a super long blade very easy to land hits and has bonus dmg vs shields.
